Keeping a well-stocked pantry is an important tool in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. If your pantry is filled with good-for-you foods, there’s no excuse to not cook healthy and wholesome meals. With that being said, I’m sure you’re aware of what happens if your pantry is filled with foods high in fat, sodium, and sugar… I once tried the “out of sight, out of mind” method by hiding a bag of chips on myself and guess how well that worked out?

Below are some of my go-to healthy pantry essentials:

1. Organic Cacao Nibs, the perfect granola topper

2. Bee Pollen, nature’s most complete food

3. Quinoa, not a grain but a gluten-free seed

4. Dates, the key to homemade energy bars & squares

5. Chia Seeds, high in fibre to regulate our movements

6. Coconut Oil, not only a food staple but a beauty must-have {cold-pressed is best}

7. Hemp Seeds, packed with 80% essential fatty acids

8. Low-Sodium Organic Vegetable Stock, always convenient to have on hand

9. Walnuts, an essential addition to salads and smoothies and squares, oh my!

“With a well-stocked pantry, great meals can be completely spontaneous.” – Gwyneth Paltrow
